Inspired to Play Cricket 2022 was a community cricket initiative organised by United Sporting Club and funded by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The event was designed to inspire children and young people to discover and enjoy cricket in a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment. Participants had the opportunity to develop their cricket skills, take part in practical activities and games, and build confidence while enjoying the sport. Through Inspired to Play Cricket 2022, United Sporting Club aimed to encourage greater participation in cricket, promote an active and healthy lifestyle, and create opportunities for young people from the local community to get involved in sport. The event brought together participants, coaches, volunteers and the wider community, helping to create a positive sporting experience and inspire the next generation of cricketers
